Your child’s scholarship application

ACER Scholarship Tests are a series of academic ability tests used to select students for the award of a scholarship.

Test dates and school preferences

Independent schools around Australia choose a testing date that suits their needs. Schools can take part in a cooperative program in which the applicant sits the test at their first preference school on the cooperative program test date and results are shared with the schools to which the student has applied. Preference order is very important as some schools will only consider students who list their school as the first preference – parents are encouraged to check the schools' websites for details.

Alternatively, schools can hold the test on a date of their choice. Applicants must sit the test at the school on that date and results are not shared with any other schools.

Results

Your child’s results will be available when schools have completed their scholarship process or, in cooperative programs, on a nominated date.
